I began by following an Autodesk tutorial which demonstrated the basic tools, techniques and design considerations to create a 3D Printed prosthesis for an amputee. I then researched alternative prosthetic leg designs available from existing manufacturers and used these resources as a basis for modelling a ball & socket joint, shin plate and foot that could function in the physical world. Although this is a rough design and may face limitations if manufactured; this is the third model I've completed using Fusion 360 in as many months and I am pleased with the overall result.
